How much battery does Flare use?

Every device is different, but on average we have observed the following battery usage across iOS and Android devices:

iOS - Typical battery usage is 3% battery per 90 minutes of usage (based on iPhone 11 Pro - iOS 14.0)

Android: Typical battery usage is 4% battery per 90 minutes of usage (based on Moto G4 - Android 7.0)

There are multiple factors that can affect battery life such as poor data connectivity or screen brightness, your experience may vary from the figures listed above.

In addition to the above - an in-app low-power mode (not to be confused with the phone's low-power mode) can disable all connected services and optimise Flare to consume ~1% battery per hour.
